This is a quick tip that could instantly increase how many see your posts in Facebook. It’s not perfect, but make sure to tag your posts. For our Wrestling Mayhem Show page, we have been tagging the wrestlers we’ve been talking about on the show in the description, directly linking the videos to the biggest names our fans, and potential fans, see on Monday night.
And our reach is through the roof.
Presumably, this has brought our videos to the forefront of searches for pro wrestlers or pushed the video in front of the people who follow them. Therefore, our page’s Reach, Video Views, and even video completions on some of our 20 minute releases have increased.
While not nearly as dramatic, I’ve also seen marked improvement in other projects where we’re simply looking to grow audience like Sawtooth Willie. This one has a little more trouble finding big names to latch onto, but tagging interests in the description (ie. Pittsburgh, Starbucks, Coconut Oil) that we discuss in this improv series has helped as well.
Don’t know how to tag? Simply put an “@” and start typing what you want to tag. If there is a page, person, or interest (some personal names can’t be tagged from your business page). That’s it!
Have you tried this? I’d love to hear your results!
