And now, a positive experience.

As many know, I’ve been an avid Netflix customer since 2006.  The service has been a great experience of consistent and value added service, with teh addition of streaming movies, and some great social tools.  One thing that happens is that you may have a more obscure selection in your queue, ready to come up next.  You would have it sent from another facility, sometimes halfway across the country, leaving you a few extra days to anticipate your next disc.  This time, instead, I go this…

Shipping update
Dear Michael,

WWE: Hell in a Cell: The Greatest Hell in a Cell Matches of All Time: Disc 3 was not available from your local shipping center. Fortunately, it was available from a shipping center in another part of the country. It’s on its way and should arrive within 3 to 5 days.

You’ll notice we also recently sent the next available DVD from your Queue to enjoy while WWE: Hell in a Cell: The Greatest Hell in a Cell Matches of All Time: Disc 3 makes its way to you.

Your Queue now shows this extra DVD rental. Enjoy.

So Netfix effectively temporarily upgraded my subscription to get less downtime in this situation.  Kudos to Netflix to fixing a small complaint I’d had in the past, which are still few and far between.

Let me guess. An Anime? I think they’re the other ones they’ve done the delay with. Side note: I just ran through their WWE selection for my Queue. Won’t need 24/7 for a while…
