When I was working on transitioning to working independence, the coffee shop was part of the dream. It’s sort of a freelancer’s ideal.
Do your work. Sip some wonderful coffee. No stuffy office. Headphones to yourself. Maybe some uplifting conversation.
But then again, I assisted on a web series that supported that.
But in reality it doesn’t always work. But if I have a few hours of web work that I’m not chained to a Drobo editing video, I get something fancy and treat myself too break up the week and talk to someone not covered in fur that licks my face.
